Welcome to Happygreenkeepers!

Happy greenkeepers is a family owned business with a background in all aspects of golf.

The owner Alan Lindsay started out life as a professional golfer before deciding to become a greenkeeper.

Having gone through education at Oatridge and Elmwood colleges which specialise in greenkeeper training he completed a scholarship programme through FEGGA (Federation of European Golf Greenkeepers Association) at Polaris World in Spain.

Having worked on Loch Lomond, Gleneagles he gained a good grounding in golf maintenance before going to Polaris on Jack Nicklaus projects where through the FEGGA scholarship he expanded his knowledge with construction, grow-in and maintenance.

Since then working in Angola, Belgium, Croatia and Holland he has been able to experience a wide variety of maintenance methods.

Because of this experience and background in the industry this is where the expertise comes in.

We treat your company like our own when hiring staff not just a number.

Matching experience and character to those that you wish to be working on your course. There is nothing worse than a bad apple in your team. We want our partnerships to be long term and the only way to do this is by providing quality.

So for confidential discussions on how to improve the quality of your staff please make an appointment and Alan will be happy to come and do a site visit and discuss possible solutions to match your budget.
